Oregon's National Bahá'í School Committees
Oregon has two National Bahá'í School Committees, each of which organizes and operates a School, consisting of one or more sessions, in their service area. These committees are agencies of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Baha'is of the United States, which sponsors the Schools. The Committees are coordinated by the Education and Schools Office at the Bahá'í National Center.
The Western Oregon Bahá'í School Committee currently organizes and operates three sessions of the Western Oregon Bahá'í School:
- Carmel Bahá'í School for Youth, a session for junior youth and youth, in early summer
- Badasht, a summer session for all ages, in mid-August
- The Winter School at Menucha, a session for adults and mature youth and junior youth, Friday through Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend
The Eastern Oregon Bahá'í School Committee sponsors the Eastern Oregon Summer School at Suttle Lake, an all-ages session in late July or early August.
