Badasht Family Summer
School
A session of the Western Oregon Bahá'í
School
Tuesday afternoon through Sunday
morning, August 5 - 10, 2008
Badasht has
something for everyone, from toddlers to adults. Join your Bahá'í family for five days among giant Douglas Firs at Camp Myrtlewood, between Roseburg and Coos Bay.
We offer classes for everyone from nursery age through adult,
led by teachers and facilitators trained in presenting dynamic,
active, hands-on classes and activities.
The Institute Process: Historical Perspective and Current Status
This year's morning class for adults will focus on the vision of growth of the Faith outlined in the Ridván message and recent letters from the International Teaching Centre, and look at ways we can achieve this vision in our clusters.
We'll examine how our participation in Ruhi classes, and especially in the core activities arising from them, will help us develop our clusters' ability to support Intensive Programs of Growth.
Some of the activities you'll find at
Badasht:

- Morning and evening devotions
- Arts and Crafts
- Hiking and river swimming
- Organized team sports, ping-pong and more!
- Afternoon enrichment classes
- Helping others, in the Humble Service Corps
- Games and fellowship
- An evening camp fire with songs and stories
- A dance and game night
- Saturday celebration of Bahá'í-inspired arts
- Time for conversation and making new friends
Immerse your family in an atmosphere of love and fellowship!
