"Menucha” (Men-oo'-ka), a Hebrew word meaning “ever-changing stillness,” reflects the Retreat Center's desire to offer a space for quiet reflection and growth. It refers to the sense of dynamic peacefulness and spiritual renewal found in the 23rd Psalm's "...He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul..." |

For well over thirty years, the Bahá'í Winter School at Menucha has provided unparalleled community connections, remarkable retreat accommodations and a deep and rich spiritual atmosphere, all in support of a mature, serious study of the Faith.
Attend stimulating, thought provoking classes and group activities in a warm, comfortable main lodge, and share family-style meals prepared by the Menucha staff.
In addition to study, our schedule will include time for rest and recreation. Renew old friendships, and find new friends. Have a quiet conversation in a cozy corner of the lodge. Browse the Peaceful Pages bookstore. Wander a trail around the grounds, to find the majestic Columbia River Gorge spread out below. Share an evening board game in front of the fireplace... Classes for Junior Youth
In addition to our regular study sessions for adults and youth, we offer a course of study specifically designed to meet the needs of students ages 10 through 14 who are ready and willing to make a rigorous academic study of the Bahá'í Faith.
Classes, daycare or accommodations for children under 10 are not available.
